Falling Off the Wagon

No only did I fall off, but was dragged to the point of being a bloody corpse.

In short, no working out Friday (which was planned), Saturday, or Sunday. And eating any and everything I wanted. Trying not to beat myself up, and trying to get back on board. I gotta get control of my weekends.

Advice?

Hi Kat - I wish I had some sage advice on how to handle weekends for you ... I don't. I struggle with them too. I find it easy to stay on track during the week, but all the social stuff over the weekend makes it difficult to say the least.

If I do go off track on the weekends, then I make sure I'm "good" the following week. Being "good" means additional exercise and wise food choices. I think its important to put the weekend behind you, come Monday, and make a fresh start. Don't beat yourself up about it, just get back on track.

Doing that seems to work for me, because I've still managed to loose weight every week of my diet, regardless of any poor weekend choices. I haven't gained yet - so it must be working.

Don't let it defeat you, do a little extra walking or running this week to make up for it. And, hang in there!
